we didn't start with a brand in mind. we started with a habit — noticing when something felt made for you, and when it just felt made. most things fall into the second category. that bothered us more than it should have.

so we built vukun around a simple test: would we actually want to use this ourselves? not endorse it, not sell it — use it, daily, without a second thought. everything we make has to pass that test before it earns a name.

we're still early. one thing exists so far, made with more care than its price tag suggests. more will come, at our own pace, when each one is ready — not before.
